How can I get involved?
If you want to be involved in NHW, you would need to become a co-ordinator for your road or part of your road. The area that you look after is known as your watch. Becoming a NHW co-ordinator does not cost anything except a little bit of time but it can have a big impact on your local community.

The minimum amount of time required to spend on NHW matters would be to deliver our newsletter, ‘The Croydon Eye’, twice a year and to pass on any relevant information from our email updates to your watch. We also encourage you and your watch to report all incidences and suspicious activity to the relevant agencies. If you see something that may help the Police in solving or preventing a crime, our advice is to make a note of what you have seen and pass this information on to the Police. You can contact your local SNT (Safe Neighbourhood Team), call 101 or in an emergency dial 999.
